In 1982, we started as a tiny Company of five, manufacturing boutique wedges and putters. Today, we're a global, high-tech Company of some 2,300 employees, each an integral part in utilizing the latest materials, ideas and equipment to make and sell the high-performance line of Callaway Golf clubs, balls, putters and accessories.
An Industry Revolution
At Callaway Golf, we aggressively challenge the boundaries of technology and continue to revolutionize the golf industry—every day, year after year. But when it comes to our employees, we're still best described as a small community of loyal team members, working together to reach a common goal of excellence.
The atmosphere on the Callaway Golf campus is relaxed but high-energy. It's not uncommon to hop on a Company bicycle to zip from one building to another, and don't be surprised if the person you strike up a friendly conversation with during a lunchtime jog is a top executive with the Company. Here you'll find casual dress with plenty of folks proudly wearing Callaway Golf logo shirts, but you won't find us out on the golf course unless it's part of our job in testing golf clubs, balls or putters. And while many people who work for Callaway Golf are very good players, many others are beginners who find that being a Callaway Golf employee makes it a little easier and less intimidating to learn to play golf. Some don't play at all, and that's OK too.
Strength and Depth
The diversity of backgrounds on our campus reflects the strength and depth of our Company. Our team members come from industries as varied as aerospace, toy-making, computer and software development, automation, and theme park management—to name just a few. But there are a few common traits we look for in our employees: integrity, honesty, daring, enthusiasm, accountability and hard work. Our late Founder, Ely Callaway built Callaway Golf on those beliefs. And they remain the bedrock of our success.
At Callaway Golf, we're passionate about what we do, and we provide extensive Training to keep our employees tops in their field.
