X Spann Golf Gloves
A Great Idea that Misses the Mark
I purchased three of these gloves, and after trying one on I was extremely optimistic. High quality, soft leather, comfortable fit, and the back was breathable and comfortable, minus the velcro strap. The fit was snug and tight, didn't restrict movement at all, and the rubber "grip" inserts and suede leather on the last two fingers felt great when I held a club.
Unfortunately, my optimism was short-lived after my first round out on the course with the glove. The glove was very difficult to take off and put back on, due to how tight it is at the opening. I remove my glove to putt, and after the first or second time removing the glove, the material on the back began to tear at the seams. Even though it is almost a mesh the black fabric on the back got hot in the sun quickly, causing my hand to sweat a little more than usual. When I finished my round, I noticed a large, painful blister where my pinky finger meets my palm, due to the seam running along the base of the last two fingers to integrate the two suede leather fingers with the rest of the smooth cabretta leather. By the end of the round, there were a couple large holes on the back of the glove, and a rip along a seam where the thumb pad meets the palm, caused by taking the glove off and putting it on. By the end of one 18 hole round, the glove was more or less unplayable (other than maybe becoming a practice glove), due to rips at the seams and stretching nearly a whole size.
My results with this glove were disappointing- my initial reaction to the glove was very optimistic, but, unfortunately, it just didn't perform how I had hoped on the course. This is very unfortunate, as I had high hopes for this glove, but unfortunately Callaway has some serious kinks to work out on this one before I would consider buying this glove again. As it is now, the design is not up to par functionally.
Please refer to the two photos I have included, both taken after playing one 18 hole round with a small bucket of balls prior to warm up. Not the condition I would expect after 18 holes of golf with a glove, and I did not abuse or treat the glove any differently than I would any other glove I have worn previously.

Was worried this glove would feel loose compared to those with the velcro closure. Fits very snug and after a few rounds still fits just as snug as the first one.

Played this glove for the first time in a tournament. I enjoyed the ease of being able to take it on and off without any difficulty. Held up very well. Gave great feel on each shot throughout the round. Looking forward to playing more rounds with this glove and buying some more.

Great Fit, Horrible Durability!
The glove fit great and looks good...that's where it ends. I admit, I'm not the best golfer in the world. Maybe a 20+ handicap, but this glove didn't make 18 holes and it had a hole in the palm, the size of a quarter. It was also the most expensive glove at the local sporting goods store.

Disappointing, to say the best.
The glove was very comfortable, but tore a large hole from the palm to the thumb after only 3 holes. It didn't even make it through the front 9. Hopefully I can get my money back.

An invisible glove
I bought this glove because I was tired of traditional tabbed gloves loosening over time. Putting the glove on and taking it off does take some getting used to but when you remember that it is a compression fit glove, the extra effort is worth it and becomes second nature. I used to take other gloves off to putt but this glove is invisible. Once it's on, the snug fit and the thin leather makes me forget that I have it on. I love the look of the glove and it has great durability. I have recommended the glove to my club pro as an item to be stocked in the clubhouse but he said that the price point in Canada makes it hard to sell to our members. I do find that the $22 price is stiff, but I don't think that there is a more comfortable glove on the market. If I can buy a supply of right hand gloves from this site then I will never have to look at another glove.

I love this glove! :)
I have bought this glove for 2 seasons in a row and I love it. It fits my hand well and is very comfortable. I put it on at the beginning of my round and do not take it off until I'm done playing. It is comfortable for the whole round and has a great grip. No problems with blisters or sweating hand. I can easily recommend this glove for play. Plus it looks sharp too! :)

Fantastic and Frustrating
Fantastic: this is flat out the most comfortable glove I have ever worn: soft, supple, more breathable than most - literally like a second skin. Gorgeous.
Frustrating: when I put it on i feel like a someone lying on the floor pulling up the zip of a pair of jeans that are too small. It is near impossible. And taking it off is twice as bad - after a hot round you feel like cutting them off like Springsteen's jeans.
I have no idea what to think about it: for its primary function its a 5, but i could easily give it zero!
If you putt in your glove and never take it off all round (like me), then this is for you.
