Els Finds His Form, Callaway Irons Lead In EPGA Wins

Ernie Els

Els Sharp With RAZR Fit and HEX Black Tour

It's only a matter of time before Ernie Els cracks the winner's circle again, and he's ready for a great year on Tour with a RAZR Fit Driver and a HEX Black Tour Golf Ball. The Big Easy has played up to his Hall of Fame standards since he put a RAZR Fit in the bag at last year's Frys.com Open, where he finished T4. During this stretch, he has also reached a playoff at the Volvo Golf Champions and defeated the No. 1 ranked player at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship. Els is playing great golf all over the world, and he believes the HEX Black Tour Ball gave him an edge at the Match Play event.

"I played the Callaway ball, the (HEX Black Tour) Ball, which launches a bit higher and in this altitude I felt that (I had) an advantage on (The No.1 ranked player), if I played him," Els said. He's also averaging more yards per drive than last season. "I actually got a draw going the way I like it," Els said after first trying the RAZR Fit. "And I think people will really enjoy it and I think it's going to benefit their games in the long run." For more of Ernie's thoughts on the RAZR Fit Driver, check out this video.

Branden Grace

Callaway Leads The European Tour In Iron Wins

Callaway leads all iron manufacturers with three European Tour wins so far this season. Branden Grace earned two of those wins with his back-to-back victories in January and the winner of the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship held off two of golf's biggest superstars with Callaway Irons in his bag. On the PGA Tour, Phil Mickelson used RAZR X Muscleback Irons during his win at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. Callaway Making Early Impact on LPGA Tour

More and more LPGA Tour players are putting Callaway equipment in their bags, particularly our drivers and fairway woods. Callaway had the most drivers and fairway woods in play at the HSBC Women's Champions, and Odyssey was the most used putter at the event. Staff Pros like Morgan Pressel and Sandra Gal are also playing some of our newest equipment in competition. Both women have switched to a RAZR Fit Driver and a HEX Black Tour Golf Ball as the season has gotten underway, and Pressel is carrying a new Metal-X Putter as well. For more information on all of our Staff Pros, please visit the Tour section on our website.
