Official Contest Rules
Some Basics:
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase or payment will not increase chance of winning. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
The “Holiday Hit The Pin Sweepstakes” promotion (the “Contest”) runs from December 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. (PT) and ends on December 23, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. (PT) (“Contest Period”).
By entering the Contest, each entrant (“Entrant”) agrees to abide by these Official Contest Rules (“Official Rules”) and with Sponsor’s General Terms and Conditions for all Pinterest contests (“General Rules”).
To enter the Contest, you must follow Callaway Golf® on Pinterest. To do this, you must have a non-private Pinterest account. If you do not have a non-private Pinterest account, you can create one free of charge at www.pinterest.com. Pinterest’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy will apply to your Pinterest account.
Limit of one entry per person. Subsequent entries will be void. All entries become property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Anyone found to use multiple Pinterest or email accounts to enter will be ineligible. Multiple entries in a single day will not be accepted.
Who is Eligible:
The Contest is open to anyone who (i) a legal resident of one of the 50 United States or D.C. and located within the United States at the time of entry, and (ii) is at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry. Employees of Callaway Golf Sales Company (“Sponsor”), and its parent company and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, advertising agencies, and the families and persons living in the same household as such employees, are not eligible to participate. This Contest is void outside of the 50 United States and D.C. This Contest is intended for viewing in the United States only and shall be construed and evaluated according to United States law.
How to Enter:
You must “follow” Callaway Golf on pinterest.com to enter.
During the Contest Period, then do the following:
- Step 1: Create a “board” on your Pinterest page entitled “Callaway Wish List”;
- Step 2: Then go to the Callaway Golf Pinterest page and “Pin” your “dream bag” of golf equipment from the board entitled “Holiday Hit The Pin Sweepstakes” as follows (i) 14 Callaway clubs; (ii) 1 golf bag.
- Step 3: Submit the URL for your Dream Bag as instructed at www.callawaygolf.com/HitThePinSweeps;
Entries may not contain any offensive or vulgar language nor depict any pornographic or illegal act. Any entries containing such language, in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion, will be considered ineligible to win a Prize. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Contest will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Entry must be the original work of entrant and not previously published. Entry must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity. By submitting an entry Entrant is granting Sponsor all rights, titles and interest in the submitted entry. Sponsor reserves the right to use any entry in all print and electronic media, and to edit entries for brevity and clarity. By submitting an entry Entrant is also granting Sponsor and its agencies all rights to use Entrant’s name, address (city and state) and/or likeness for advertising and trade purposes without further compensation or authorization, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known and hereafter devised, unless prohibited by law.
No illegible, incomplete, forged, or altered entries will be accepted. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
Selection and Notification of Winner & Description of Prize:
One winner will be selected at random from among all eligible entries (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) received during the Promotion Period. Random draw shall be conducted by Sponsor on or about December 24, 2012. Odds of winning vary and depend upon actual number of eligible entries received. Estimated odds of winning are 1 in 5,000.
Sponsor will notify winner by sending a message to the contact information provided by Entrant at time of entry. The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding on all matters relating to the Contest.

All federal, state, and local taxes, and all other expenses not expressly listed above are the sole responsibility of the winners. Prize is nontransferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash by winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize for one of equal or greater value.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, all winners will be required to sign and return to Sponsor an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (“Affidavit”) within five business days of the date of the notification. If a potential winner fails to return the Affidavit within the time frame specified or if Sponsor is unable to contact a potential prize winner for any reason (including, but not limited to, receipt of returns due to invalid or incorrect email or postal addresses), prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be randomly selected.
Winner's List:
The name of the Contest winner will be available online within 30 days following the end of the Promotion Period at www.callawaygolf.com/HitThePinSweeps.
