At 6'5" and 230 lbs, it's no surprise that Bobby Gates is one of the longest hitters on Tour. He averaged over 300 yards per drive in 2012 and then earned his PGA Tour card through Q School. Gates has the strength and the game to tear up the par-5s at any venue.
Bobby played college golf at Texas A&M, and lists playing in the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach as his biggest thrill in golf. He never travels without his iPod, loves country music and lists Hawaii and California among his favorite vacation spots. He'll also play an Odyssey Putter this year.
