David Horsey is coming off a great 2011 EPGA season that included his dramatic playoff victory at the Trophee Hassan II last April. He made a birdie on the second playoff hole to defeat the other two opponents. He also won in 2010 at the BMW International Open. Horsey had a distinguished amateur career and he competed in the 2007 Walker Cup.
 
He rose the ranks on the Challenge Tour and first played on the European Tour full-time in 2009. He finished in 32nd place on the final order of merit in 2010 and in the top-45 in 2011. Horsey uses an Odyssey Putter and his hobbies include music, watching movies and playing soccer.
