J.J. Killeen caught fire last summer and rode his hot streak all the way to Nationwide Tour Player of the Year honors and a spot on the PGA Tour. Killeen won back-to-back starts at the Utah Championship and Cox Classic, posted seven total top-10s and locked up the Nationwide Tour’s money list title for 2011. He led the Tour in putting average and putts per round with his Odyssey White Hot XG #7 model and also led in total birdies. He was also voted Player of the Year.
As the leading money winner, he earned a PGA Tour card for the 2012 season.
Killeen was born in San Diego and played his college golf at TCU. He took up golf at the age of 10 after being encouraged by his father and grandfather. His father also occasionally caddies for J.J. on Tour. He lives in Fort Worth, Texas with his wife, Tasha and daughter, Olivia.
