Sandra Gal was born in Dusseldorf, Germany, and came to the U.S. to attend college at the University of Florida. Sandra earned her first career LPGA win at the 2011 Kia Classic with RAZR X Irons in the bag. She won four events and was a two-time All-American while playing for the Gators. In 2008, she graduated with honors from Florida with a degree in advertising.
Sandra began playing golf seriously at the age of 14; her father was her first instructor. Growing up, she was also involved in tennis, ballet, violin, theater, painting and wakeboarding. Gal's rookie season on Tour came in 2008. She finished 20th on the 2011 LPGA Tour money list. Sandra uses an Odyssey Putter.
