Sang-Moon Bae enjoyed a career year on the JGTO last season, where he became one of golf’s rising superstars. Bae won three tournaments in 2011, with victories at the Vana H Cup KBC Augusta, the Coca-Cola Tokai Classic and the Japan Open, and he posted seven top-3 finishes in his 19 JGTO starts. Bae took firm control of the money lead after his second win on the year and cruised to the JGTO money title.
The news only got better for Bae in December, when he closed with a final round 66 to finish inside the top-25 at the PGA Tour qualifying tournament and earned his PGA card for 2012. Bae went out in 31 during his final round to put himself in great position and posted T11 at Q School. He shot 69 or better during four of the six rounds and finished three shots inside the final number for players who gained their Tour cards for next year. Bae is playing an Odyssey Putter in competition.
