Callaway Golf Limited Two-Year Warranty
WARRANTY COVERAGE FOR PURCHASES WITHIN INDIA:
Callaway Golf India Private Ltd. (“Callaway India”) warrants its golf clubs and its components purchased from an authorized Callaway India retailer or distributor within India to be free of defects in material and workmanship, when used in the manner intended, for two years from the date of purchase. Callaway accessories purchased within India are covered under a six month warranty period from the date of purchase. The aforementioned warranty periods are hereinafter referred to as “Warranty Period”. Subject to inspection and evaluation, Callaway India will, without charge to the consumer, repair or replace any product or component or part thereof that is defective or becomes defective during normal use within the Warranty Period. At its sole option, Callaway India may replace the product with a new or refurbished product. Callaway India reserves the right to replace the warranty product or component with the same or similar model type of the product or component deemed valid for replacement. Callaway India does not warrant its products against damage caused by third parties. This warranty does not cover paint scratches, cosmetic blemishes, damage from excessive heat or other normal wear and tear. To obtain warranty service in India on a complete Callaway India product, return the product to a Callaway authorized retailer in India or directly to Callaway India, within the Warranty Period, along with a valid proof of purchase and a brief written statement that describes the nature of the alleged defect. In the case of a Callaway component, you must obtain warranty service through an authorized Callaway retailer of that component within the Warranty Period. If Callaway India determines that a product is defective, Callaway India will replace the defective product within approximately 4 weeks from the date the item is received by Callaway India or from the retailer. Outside of India, all warranty service must be obtained from an authorized Callaway distributor or subsidiary in the country in which the club was purchased. All warranty service for clubs purchased outside of India must be obtained from the authorized Callaway distributor or subsidiary in the country in which the club was purchased. This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties. Callaway Golf Company and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “CGC”) disclaim all warranties for products that are purchased from sellers other than authorized retailers or distributors, including the warranty of merchantability or the warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Callaway Golf also disclaims any implied warranty, including the warranty of merchantability or the warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, and assumes no responsibility for any special, incidental, or consequential damages as to all products and components. CGC further disclaims any implied or express warranty of, and assumes no responsibility for, defects in workmanship caused by third parties. This warranty gives the consumer specific legal rights; a consumer may have other rights depending upon where he or she lives. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long a warranty lasts, so the above exclusion and limitations may not apply to everyone. Any warranty obligation by CGC is non-transferable to a third party. Further, this warranty does not extend coverage to golf clubs replaced by CGC as a part of any previous warranty claim.
Outside of the United States, local taxes, tariffs or shipping charges may apply. This warranty does not apply to Callaway Golf® or Odyssey® golf clubs purchased in Australia or New Zealand on or after January 1, 2011.
