DuraSpin Cover

This proprietary urethane cover formulation significantly improves durability to better prevent marks and scratches throughout the round. It also produces both the soft feel and exceptional short-game spin that players seek in a high performance Tour golf ball.

s-Tech Core

The proprietary core is an optimal combination of low compression and high resilience. This combination provides extremely soft feel off the clubface with exceptional ball speeds that maximize distance for players with moderate swing speeds. The s-Tech Core is surrounded by a firm, thin mantle layer that provides excellent resilience without making the ball feel harder. It’s designed to maximize ball speed without generating high spin off the tee, providing the best combination for long distance.

HEX Aerodynamics

Callaway’s patented HEX Aerodynamics produce 100% surface area coverage on a golf ball whereas traditional round dimples typically cover only 88% of the surface. This highly engineered pattern provides the best aerodynamic performance ever in a Callaway golf ball, reducing drag and promoting a stable, penetrating ball flight.

Two Color Options

HEX Chrome's cover is available in traditional White or Optical Yellow for additional visibility in the air or on the ground.

Great ball for Mid-Handicappers I bought this ball to use in our club championship. Didn't win with it, but boy did it feel good off the tee and stop on the green. I am 62 and have never gotten on our 547 yard par-5 18th in two. I have done it three times since using this ball. The feel is tremendous and it goes as far as every other premium ball I have ever played. Great product for us old guys who don't see like we used to! Thanks Callaway! October 14, 2012
Outstanding Ball! Only been golfing for 4 years. Started by using 4 other competitors balls, then found the Callaway Diablo. The Diablo was a great ball and put the other 4 (all more expensive) to shame. Then came the Chrome! Icing on the cake was Optic Yellow! Nothing compares to the Chrome. The feel and consistent shots has helped my game out immensely! This ball has given me the perfect tool to know where I need to work on my game because of the consistent/dependable play. I'd recommend to all golfers from beginners to seasoned pro's, which I have. My dad hasn't paid for a golf ball in 20 years, and has been golfing for 47 years! Bought him a dozen of the Chrome optics, his review still to be determined. Thanks Callaway, wonderful product! October 26, 2012
LONG AND SOFT FEEL This ball is longer off the tee than NXT. Soft feel around the greens. I love it. August 26, 2012
Long The ball is long off the tee. Great feel around the green August 13, 2012
Super distance off tee and soft control on green I picked up 30 yards off tee and have more control on short game. July 26, 2012
long and great greenside performance These are great all-around golf balls, especially for slightly slower swing speeds. The distance is as good or better than any distance ball on the market, and the feel and spin around the greens is close to that of the higher priced tour balls that most amateurs can't hit anyway. Save $10 a dozen and buy these. i'm going to try them in yellow next time I buy. August 25, 2012
Tour level performance at a great price! Everything you need in a golf ball. Plays like a ProV1 at a much better value. Great spin and feel into the green without sacrificing distance off the tee. Everyone should try this ball. Durability is on par with most tour level balls. September 16, 2012
very good ball off the tee and on the green. I played with this ball just a few days ago and loved it. I was able to control the ball very nicely off the tee, and the putting was very true to the line. Nobody questioned my choice of a yellow ball after they saw how far the ball was going off the tee.
