Rated 5 out of 5 by Chris Finest Callaway Ball I've ever Played
Firstly, I have played nearly every golf ball on the market. From a Top Flite to a Pro V. Working in the golf industry, It is important that I know, first hand, all the products that are out there and how they perform. I believe that this is the only way that I can provide true and honest information. It is important to be both biased and unbiased. What I mean is that a certain product may not work for me, but it will probably work for someone.
In this case, this ball works for myself and any other golfer who has gamed a ball of this caliber. Through the years I have liked and disliked many balls, but, in the end I will always play a ProV1X when it matters. This is the first ball that I have found and considered to be my new primary ball. Luckily, I had the opportunity to play this ball over the course of two days when visiting Callaways headquarters. Both rounds I played mattered and I was worried that I might perform a bit worse without my No. 1 ball, the ProV1x. I was wrong. This ball is both soft and long, spins properly, and most importantly for a ball costing ~$50 a dozen, IS DURABLE. More durable than any ball in its class.
If you're like myself, and swing in the 105-110 range, tend to overspin wedges and approach shots from ~140yds and in, then this is a ball you should strongly consider and recommend among your piers.
In my opinion, if these are some of the golf balls you've played in recent years: ProV1x, Z-Star XV, B-330, NXT Tour, (maybe a lethal, although IMO they're more similar to SR2, but it's the only ball TM offers that could be compared), you should give SR 3 balls a go.
