XR 16 Fairway Woods is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 127.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from XR17 Fairway Woods These replaced woods that I have been playing for years. They quickly made a believer out of me. The combination of distance and forgiveness is exceptional. Easy to get in the air for the senor player.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of Callaway's best I'm an active 75 year old male with a 18 handicap-cap that has had and played most all of the top brand clubs. I always make a point to go to any demo day of any manufacturer that's in my area and try their clubs. I'm a person that will buy what I hit the best and most consistent off the tee as well as the turf. It is my opinion that you'll have a difficult time finding clubs that out preform the Callaway XR16 woods and irons. I play with all younger guys most of the time and realize I'm not as long as some of the young bloods, but guess what? I'm longer than most and I don't go away. Love these sticks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Callaway wood yet I have previously owned Ftiz, Diablo, X-hot, Big Bertha and XR FW's from Callaway. The XR16 seems to have incorporated all the best features of these prior generations. The one feature that helps my game is the cambered sole. The leading edge, being more rounded, slides through the fairway or short rough grass easier than previous models. I have not personally noticed a great increase in distance because I am a light hitter, but I have seen an increase in cleanly struck balls. I am keenly aware of all the competitors in the marketplace and though I have not played the others my personal opinion is that from an engineering standpoint Callaway clubs continue to be at or near the top of the field.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As good as they get The XR16 fairway woods are excellent. Distance, feel, forgiveness... all in one club. I didn't like fairway woods much, probably because they didn't work for me. These do. Well worth the money. I love the fairway woods.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like new wasn't Bought an XR16 11 wood. Listed it as like new. Was supposed to be checked over carefully. Checker must have been blind. Paint was chipped all around the edge of the crown. Last owner must have not used the headcover. Face had sand scratches from plenty of use in fairway bunkers. I use XR16's for all my fairway woods. 3,4,7. The XR16 is the best fairway wood I've used. I've been playing for 50 years. I bought all of them new. This is the last time I'd ever buy a used one from Callaway. Thier definition of like new and mine are very different. I would have listed this as very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Improvement from my X2 hoy Off the tee I hit this club close to my driver length. Inconsistent off the fairway but when I do hit it correct, it goes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice fairway wood This is the best fairway wood that I have used. It is forgiving and I get more distance. For a 73 year old golfer, more distance is good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to strike 11 wood easy feel. High trajectory and soft decent..perfect for 140 to 165 yards over bunkers.
