Don't waste your time with the others.... Had these clubs for 1 week. Played 4 rounds with them so far and I can't tell you how GREAT they feel from the fairways and around the greens. Can't go wrong if you purchase these! August 2, 2013
Corrosion after one round of golf!! After a single round of golf, the amount of rust which has accumulated on the head of the wedge is unforgiveable. To look at the club, you would think i had left it in a salt water bath for weeks on end. The round of golf which i played was a perfectly sunny day and it hasn't rained here for weeks (Sydney, Australia). Therefore, this club has seen minimal water. I wouldn't be pleased, but i would understand if i noticed a small amount of rust after a year of normal play. But to see the amount of corrosion and for the price i paid, is totally unacceptable from a company like Callaway after one round. All of my clubs are Callaway, and i have never had an issue unitl now. This will effect my next purchase in future, as for the price you pay, you expect a quality product. Shame on you Callaway. Best Wedge EVER! I have been playing Callaway wedges for years, and occasionally a Vokey. These are the best I have ever used without a doubt! The feel and control is unbelievable! Do yourself a favor and buy these, you will not regret it! November 26, 2013
Very poor shafts yet great wedge head design Just purchased 50,56,60 in 3 varying grinds and though I can imagine these would be fantastic with a better shaft currently I'm very disappointed . The standard DG S300 shafts are far to heavy resulting in a very heavy swing weight . No feel what so ever. The DG Spinner shafts would have been a logical shaft I would have thought for such a terrific wedge design. Will be re shafting ASAP . February 9, 2014
Butter I just received the 56 degree C grind and it is amazing! You can lay it open and it doesn't toe up at all. I just place an order for the 52 and 60. This is the softest wedge I have hit in a long long time. You will not be disappointed! January 15, 2014
Best wedge Very simple this is the best wedge ever made by any manufacturer. August 25, 2013
Throwing Darts Played my first round with my new 60 degree MackDaddy 2 Slate wedge today and I was amazed(54 is still on back order). I ordered it with a PX 6.5 shaft to match my irons and to get my desired ball flight. It felt amazing on every shot and every shot was like throwing darts. I didnt leave a single approach with this wedge outside of 12 feet which helped me walk away with 6 birdies and post a 69. I couldnt ask for better results. January 5, 2014
Where did the lefty 58 degree go? While I don't own these yet, I will. I just wonder why Roger Cleveland would cut out the left handed 58 degree that he has made for years. Just seems curious that it was made in years past and now I will have to settle for a bent 56 or 60. Disappointing..... December 2, 2013
