Hyper Speed Face Cup

For the first time ever, we’re bringing thinner, lighter and more robust faces to our hybrids. We’re talking a sweet spot that is 13 times larger than last year! So you get huge, repeat HUGE distance and higher ball speeds out of a versatile club that’s going to give you a ridiculous amount of confidence. Bottom line: the performance advancement we just made with fairway woods has been matched by our hybrids. Now that’s a quantum leap for you!

New Tour Inspired Shape

The more-iron like shape inspires confidence over the ball, enhances turf interaction and increases playability and accuracy from all types of lies. This is what Tour players want in a hybrid. Heck, it’s what all golfers want in a hybrid.

Callaway Ultralite Graphite Shaft

More feel and control while increasing launch angles.

2014 Golf Digest Hot List Gold Medal

“It’s compact enough to look like a hybrid that lets you shape shots, and it has enough technology to make it perform like the high-lofted fairway wood you didn’t know you needed.” - Golf Digest

This Club Rocks I hit this club exceptionally well in the testing stall at Golfsmith and am pleased to see that experience transfer to the course. I am particularly happy with its/my performance out of the rough. Off the fairway, I can get 175 yards with a clean hit ... nice to see. I didn't really expect to get the same distances as those in the testing stall, which recorded several hits of 185 to 194. After all, in the stall, you experience a perfectly clean, flat lie without environmental challenges along with numerous chances at the ball ... which is unusual on the course. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is that I haven't had it long enough to test its durability. Based on my experience with Callaway clubs, I'm confident it is relatively long lasting, however, you never know ... time will tell. If you are an advanced intermediate or advanced golfer, I believe you'll love this club. Certainly on the higher price side, but worth it if you consistently lower your scores over time. If you're a beginner, you'll need to be able to hit your longer clubs well to take advantage of this club. July 25, 2014
love the way it feels Very pleased with the way the ball flies off the club. Friends ask me what club is that? October 17, 2014
Great reliability Love these hybrids -- great out of rough, on fairway...you can count on them. October 17, 2014
Longer and on the fairway With the new hybrid, I got on the green in regulation on this long par 5 and made my 1st par. This club has a kind of snap and more distance when the ball is struck solid. October 2, 2014
Ladies Callaway X2 Hot 6 Hybrid Love this club. Easy to hit and the ball flies. This and the X2 Hot 5 Hybrid are my go to clubs in a number of situations. September 5, 2014
Great club for 100 out or getting out of the rough This is a very handy club to have when you get into trouble, August 22, 2014
Love the 3 hybrid This club has taken several strokes off my long game. I am able to get within chipping distance on a par 5 on my second stroke. (Drive and 3Hybrid) It also hits well off dried short grass and bad lies. I wish the hybrids went to 7. August 21, 2014
Not like the one on demo Days I went to Demo Days at my local course and hit with a ladies x2hot hybrid. Every shot was perfect. This club ( even though the same specs) does NOT hit anything like what I tried. No wonder it was sent back July 21, 2014
