If you’re looking at the short list of top young 20-somethings on Tour, Harris English has to be at or near the top. He first burst onto the scene when he won on the Nationwide Tour as a college amateur in 2011, but his breakout year came in 2013. Harris clinched his first PGA Tour win with a clutch performance at the FedEx St. Jude Classic, then backed that up with another win in November at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba.
Harris was a four-time All-American at the University of Georgia, and he led his high school in Chattanooga, Tenn. to four state titles. If you’re looking for superstitions, he uses a 1989 quarter to mark his ball to represent the year he was born. Whatever he’s doing is clearly working, and we’re fired up to welcome him to the Callaway Crew!
