Distance Control With Your Irons

A lot of players hit their irons a LONG way now. Today’s 8-iron can basically play like an old 6-iron, so you have to know how to control your distance.

David Leadbetter explains that you need to have a controlled finish in your swing. That’s the key. Choke down just a little, play a nice smooth swing, and make that controlled finish he’s talking about.
