22-year-old Callaway staffer Ryo Ishikawa came out on top in a playoff on Sunday at the Shigeo Nagashima Invitational to capture his 11th career Japanese Tour win. He carded a final round 67 to finish at 10-under and here’s a look at some of the key equipment in his bag:
Big Bertha Alpha Driver (8.5-degree)
X2 Hot Pro 7-wood (19-degree)
X-Forged ’13 Irons (4-9)
Mack Daddy 2 Tour Grind Wedge (58-degree)
It’s a great moment for the young phenom and yet another win for Big Bertha Alpha, which continues to pick up victories on the PGA Tour and major Tours around the world. His victory also adds to the huge initial momentum on Tour for the new Mack Daddy 2 Tour Grind Wedges, which are in stores on July 18. Expertly crafted by Callaway Chief Designer Roger Cleveland with a new Tour validated shape, these wedges have already been put in play by Phil Mickelson, Patrick Reed, Stuart Appleby, Nicolas Colsaerts, Fredrik Jacobson, Branden Grace, Matt Every, Pat Perez, Brian Stuard and Sang-Moon Bae, just to name a few.
Congratulations to Ryo on a great win for #TeamCallaway!
