November has already been a big time month for some of our most consistent Callaway staffers. Just one week after Chris Kirk closed out his second career PGA Tour win with a clutch final round 66, Brian Stuard posted a solo second place finish at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba.
Here are the Callaway Clubs Stuard relied on his best finish of the young 2013-2014 season:
This won’t surprise you but it’s worth mentioning that he looked absolutely rock solid from tee-to-green all week. Stuard hit over 71% of fairways, 76% of greens and was second for the week in birdies. Pretty much what you might expect from someone with such a proven all-around game.
Stuard’s X Hot Pro 3-wood has 14.4° of actual loft and a 43” Fuji SPD VC 8.3x shaft. His X Hot Pro Hybrid has 18.4° of actual loft and is cut to 40.5”. The shaft is a TT PX HB Series X. From what we can tell, these lofts, lengths and shafts all seem to work really, really well for him.
Odyssey Leads Putter Count On All 5 Tours
Since we’re already on the topic of things that shouldn’t surprise you, we might as well add that Odyssey led the putter count at all 5 of the professional worldwide Tour events last week.
That includes the PGA, European, Japanese, LPGA and JLPGA Tours. Just more domination from the #1 Putter in Golf.
This of course adds another accolade to a calendar year in which Odyssey has won more than any other putter brand with 60 victories across the six major worldwide Tours. Heck, that deserves a hashtag – #1PutteronTour.
