Teeing Off: Who You Got At The BMW Championship?

    Jeff Newton

It’s CRUNCH TIME in the FedExCup Playoff race with only one tournament left for players to clinch a spot in the Tour Championship. This week the top-70 are in Chi Town as they look to jump up or keep their place in the top-30 and punch their ticket to East Lake next week.

Our Callaway staffers in the field are playing well (you have to be to make it this far) and that got us thinking. You guys know the Tour and who’s hot right now. So we want you to be the analyst to the all-important poll question:

Which Callaway Staff Pro will have the best finish this week at the BMW Championship?

    The Players:

    Sang-Moon Bae

Why You Should Pick Him: Because he’s a proven winner with a nothing to lose attitude this week.

Bae needs a big week to get into the Tour Championship and he’s no stranger to letting it fly when the stakes are at their highest.

The Callaway staffer has handled big moments before, like when he finished strong in May for his first career win at the HP Byron Nelson Championship.

    Ernie Els

Why You Should Pick Him: Do you think “The Big Easy” is afraid of the pressure at a FedExCup event? Heck no. The four-time major winner needs to go low, and to do that he’ll rely on his silky swing for pinpoint shot-making in Chicago. Els will be scaring the pins all week.

    Jim Furyk

Why You Should Pick Him: Ever since he switched into FT Optiforce at the Canadian Open, the 2010 FedExCup winner just keeps cranking out top-10 finishes. He’s a lock for East Lake and with four top-10s in his last five starts, including a solo 2nd at the final major, he’s got to be one of the favorites here.

    Chris Kirk

Why You Should Pick Him: He’s one of the steadiest players on Tour this year and he’s so close to the top-30 he can taste it. The first year Callaway staffer has calmly plodded along in a season that’s included one high finish after the next.

At 37th in the current standings, he’s just on the outside looking in on a ticket to Atlanta, where he grew up.

So let’s see: Atlanta native, University of Georgia alum, looking for a chance to play in front of his home crowd. We’re guessing he’s probably just a llllitttllleee extra motivated this week.

    Phil Mickelson

Why You Should Pick Him: He’s Phil Mickelson. Player of the Year contender and right in the hunt for the FedExCup title. You may have heard of him.

    Patrick Reed

Why You Should Pick Him: If you’ve watched any tournament the last two months, chances are Patrick Reed was on the first page of that leaderboard. The new staffer is all dialed in to a full Callaway bag that features his FT Optiforce Driver, Mack Daddy 2 Wedges and a HEX Chrome+ Ball. He’ll be gunning for his second win of the year this weekend.

    Gary Woodland

Why You Should Pick Him: GW is on the short list of hottest golfers in the world right now. Following his win in Reno and another close call at The Barclays, he’s putting it all together at the perfect time. If you want to ride a hot hand, look no further.
