Back-to-Back Major Wins For Odyssey

Jeff Newton

Odyssey locked up its second major victory in as many weekends with a dominant win on Sunday at the Women’s British Open. An Odyssey Works Versa Tank Sabertooth rolled to the winner’s circle with a winning score of 18-under par. This is the fourth major win of the year for our putters, and comes a week after a White Hot 2-Ball long model cruised to the win at the Senior Open Championship.

Odyssey also blew away the competition in the Women’s British Open Putter count with 62 in play; no other putter brand had more than 34. The O-Works 2-Ball was our #1 model in the field, and our Toulon Design Putters also had a strong showing.

Speaking of Toulon Design, Michelle Wie used her Toulon Indianapolis to tie the course record on Thursday on the way to her T3 finish. That was more than enough to lock up her spot on the U.S. Solheim Cup team, which she’s said was her biggest goal of the year.

Odyssey continues to lead all putter brands in worlwide Tour wins and worldwide Tour usage this year. It’s another great benchmark for the #1 Putter in Golf.
