Introducing MAVRIK Sub Zero Drivers

Features &
Benefits

  • New A.I. designed Flash Face SS20 for Ball Speeds All Across The Face
MAVRIK thinking fueled our new, A.I. designed Flash Face SS20, to promote fast ball speeds across a more expansive area in each model and loft.
  • High-strength FS2S Titanium for Consistent Performance
New face architecture required FS2S titanium, an extremely strong material that’s 6 grams lighter than traditional titanium to promote optimal speed, forgiveness, and spin robustness.
  • Jailbreak + T2C Triaxial Carbon Crown for Ball Speed and Forgiveness
Two internal Jailbreak bars connect the sole and crown to promote fast ball speed, and the significantly lighter carbon crown allows us to redistribute weight for higher MOI.
  • Interchangeable Weights to Fine Tune Ball Flight
The slightly smaller 450cc head features two interchangeable weights in the front and back (14g and 2g) to promote changes to launch angle and spin rate.

MAVRIK Sub Zero Drivers is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Longest driver If you are a consistent ball striker this club is for you. You don’t need a super fast swing speed to hit this club. With the right shaft this club is 20 yards longer than with my old driver. The Callaway fitter was great and tried everything to get me the right fit. Best of all he listened to the feedback I was giving.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Longer and more roll I had the same loft in my Epic BB driver and had no problem getting it in the air. I wanted at least the same distance out of the Mavrik with more roll and I got both. Club feels great at impact and sounds better than my Epic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing but pure distance. I was extremely pleased with direction! Just great. I knew it was good but is better than I anticipated

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Driver I have played the Epic Sub Zero Driver for years now. I have tried all the other Callaway new drivers that have come out every year. My numbers on Trackman never Warranted big difference in numbers, so I played the Epic. I got with my Pro at the club this year and he put me in the Mavrik SZ 9* with X60 Rouge Shaft. He has always Fitted and Instructed me, so knows my game well. Boom what a difference this club made. My problem has always been back spin which was in the 3400 Range. After 5 Balls my average was 1600 which added 20 Yards and my Dispersion was within 20 yards.I have taken that to the course which has helped me increase my FIR. The Sound is really solid also. I purchased the 3 Wood Sub Zero 13.5* with X70 Rouge Shaft. Never thought I would find a better 3 wood then my Epic w/ GD Tour AD Di Shaft, but I have now. I even put Mavrik Pro irons in my bag ! Highly recommend trying this Driver against yours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top notch driver I’m 73 y o and I’ve had a boat load of drivers and the Mavrik s z 9* is the best yet. I have the TPT shaft with 5 grams hot melt and I drive the ball 260 or more on a consistent basis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great driver! Feels very good. The SZ isn't as forgiving, but when hit well the low spin results in more distance and anccuracy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The technology speaks loudly ! After having a Bertha 816 Double Diamond it was time for a look at this new technology that has had rave reviews. I scheduled a fitting session with Callaway as I have in the past for my Rogue X Irons and 2015 Big Bertha. After an hour and a half with the rep and trackman data we dialed in a new sub zero to reduce my spin rate. In comparison to the 816 I gained an avg of 15 mph ball speed, reduced my spin by 1500 and all with an avg club head speed of 94 mph. Shaft selection was so important for my age and posture but the rep came through. I am amazed even on mishits the distance I get. Flight path based on opti-fit set up is a climbing slight draw and accuracy stays consistent. So if your lookin then start cookin! This driver is by far the best I have had and with the proper fitting I cannot see anyone being dissatisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bomber's Paradise I've owned virtually every new Callaway driver over the past 5 years. There's never been a need to change other than just wanting the latest and greatest. However as we all know every new model is not necessarily better than what it comes after. This is why I have went back and have been playing the original 2017 GBB Epic SZ as of late. I had no plans to buy the Mavrik but the inner desire to chase more yards finally caught up with me and I decided to get one. I had really disliked the Epic Flash model due to the sound of it alone. Knowing that Callaway had addressed that with the Mavrik line I was keen to hear it for myself. I'm happy to say that they nailed the sound on this model. Performance wise I've hit some of my longest drives ever with the Mavrik SZ, however my dispersion isn't quite as tight as the original Epic SZ. It's still early in my testing/playing with the Mavrik SZ model but being some 20 yards longer at times is quite a happy surprise. Hoping I can reign in the dispersion after some more reps but based on all out distance alone I'd say that Callaway really has a great model here.
