Apex Utility Irons is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Utility Iron is a very fitting name I was fairly new to golf and not very consistent with driver and woods when I bought the 18* and 21*. These long irons suited my eye and performed much more consistent than fairway woods. I use them off the tee, fairway and moderate rough. I can play a variety of shots and work the ball as well as any other club in my bag. I liked them so much that I bought the 24* instead of a 4 iron when I switched my iron set. Long story short, I went from hit a ton of poor tee shots and hoping for a miracle long iron save to having less terrible tee shots and many more par saves from the 200+ range. These clubs have helped me more off the tee and saved my butt when I hit poor tee shots. Disclaimers: Keep in mind I struggled woods, but loved 4 and 5 irons before I bought these. These club were not the easiest to learn how to hit, but they have been a blast since I figured them out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solved my issues at the top of my set! I purchased the Apex UT (18*) after months of experimenting with the top of my set; I needed something to fill the gap between my 4-iron and my 3-wood. I tested out a few hybrids but I couldn't stop hooking them to the right (left-handed player), and I as much as I loved my 5-wood, I couldn't control the shape as easily or play it out of the rough. I explained this to my local club fitter and he recommended the Apex UT. I immediately saw the results I wanted; I could shape my shots, control shot height, and play it out of the rough with no problems at all. It's even become one of my go to clubs off the tee when I'm not hitting the driver as well as I want. My only worry is that the distance of this club does creep up on my 3-wood. Off the tee my 3-wood gets to around 275, and 265 off the deck; the UT can roll out to 270 off the tee, and can get up to 255 off the deck. However, I don't mind that overlap too much because both clubs offer completely different ball flights, so I know I have some options depending on the shot I want to hit. In the end, I couldn't be happier with this club! I might even look at putting a 24* to replace my 4-iron. Definitely recommend this to someone who wants the feel of an iron, with the height of a hybrid, and the distance of a fairway wood!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Callaway 21* Utility Iron looks and feels good. I purchased this Utility iron as a hybrid replacement. I am much more accurate with an iron than metal wood type clubs. This utility iron gets the ball up in the air quickly and spins the ball for me a lot. So much so that I was only getting 4 iron distances. My 4 iron loft is 25*. Both clubs carry 185 yards. I ended up returning the Callaway UT because it didn't have a place distance wise in my bag. It for me just spun my distance away but for someone with difficulty getting the ball in the air it would be great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Callaway Pre-Owned is AMAZING Callaway pre-owned site is amazing. Anytime i have bought used clubs from this site, they always come in better condition than i thought they would. ALWAYS! I would 100% recommend this site to anybody looking to find a gently used club, that in my opinion looks and feels brand new for a fraction of the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks perfect. Feel dons't match?? I love the look of this club. I have always had a problem hooking regular hybrids so love the idea of this club. I play a very tight and difficult course and the predecessor to this club has been a life saver. Naturally I thought this would be an upgrade. I have friends with very low handicaps that like this club so this is a bit perplexing. I can't hit the 21 degree past my apex 5 iron and the feel is way off. Just feels clunky to me. Look, I love Callaway and have a bag full of their clubs. Maybe it's me but I am a 2 handi and have more than enough club head speed for the shaft. You will rarely look at a more buitiful club at address....but I recommend you hit this one (unlike I did) before you ht the check it button.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long and straght I bought this club (21 degree) to replace a broken 4 iron, which I was suing off the tee. This club gloe almost as far a my driver and my misses are still playable.
