22-year-old Andrea Pavan brings an appealing combination of youth, supreme talent and a decorated amateur career to the Nationwide Tour. Born in Rome, the Texas A&M alum won the 2006 Omnium Championship – a professional event on the Italian Tour – as an amateur. Pavan earned Division I PING All-American Honors as a senior in 2010 and golfweek ranked him as the fifth best professional prospect from his graduating class.
Pavan improved every year at Texas A&M; he earned All-Region accolades as a sophomore, received All-Big 12 honors during the team’s NCAA championship season in 2009 and led the Aggies in scoring average his senior year. He began playing golf at age six and his favorite Tour player is fellow Callaway Staff Pro Ernie Els. Pavan has recorded two aces in golf and his favorite course is Les Bordes in France.
