What You Need To Know

    Innovation

    Technology Specs

    Epic Pro Irons Technology Item
    • Next-Generation 360 Face Cup Technology for Longer Average Distance

Advancing the industry-leading face technology that made Callaway the #1 Iron in golf, the rim of the Face Cup is 1 mm at its thinnest point to add even more ball speed on center hits and further minimizing distance loss on off-center hits.

    • Exo-Cage for Energy Lensing and Maximum COR

Exo-Cage head construction stiffens the body to allow the face to take on more of the load of impact. This is known as “Energy Lensing” - it promotes faster ball speed for longer distance, and it helped raise the COR in Epic Irons right up to the limit in each iron. This is the highest level of speed and forgiveness we’ve ever had in a pro head shape.

    • Metal Injection Molded Tungsten Infused Standing Wave To Optimize CG Location

Multi-material construction demands strict tolerances, seamless fit and secure bonding. Epic Pro Irons are precision-milled and robotically welded, and every iron in this set is uniquely constructed for maximum integrity and optimum performance. Incorporating tungsten in the Internal Standing Wave allowed Callaway engineers to precisely position the CG in each individual iron. This includes a lower CG for easier launch and long carry in the long irons, higher CG in the short irons for a lower, more controllable flight, and left-to-right CG control in tandem with the hollow hosel.

    • High Performance Players’ Shape

A slightly smaller head, slimmer topline, thinner sole and less offset, all to promote the kind of keen feel and workability better players want.

    • Premium Shaft Offerings

Project X LZ 105 stock steel offering with a wide selection of premium steel shaft options at no upcharge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These irons are good! I purchased the Apex CF16 irons because my old irons presented too much offset. My old irons were too difficult to aim/play-consistently-well. I now own irons that do not get in my way. I can score low with the Apex CF16. Lastly, the Callaway Customer Service was wonderful. I am now inclined to make all future club purchases directly from the manufacturer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feel, it's all about the feel. Simply the feel.....unlike any other iron that has been in my bag. After years of going back and forth with cast, cavity-back, game improvement clubs,etc...a miss hit is a miss hit. No club can correct that, and actually the outcomes are mostly similar. I don't know how the designer did it, but the trajectories are amazing. Best feeling and performing iron ever. No point in looking any further. These irons are in my bag until the are unplayable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great irons, I ordered custom irons and they only took 4 days from when I ordered till they were at my house. Love the accuracy and forgiveness these irons have. Distance is also what you would expect once you get them dialed in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great set of irons! I had a set of Callaway Steelhead XR Pro irons with Aerotech shsfts with which I wasn’t terribly happy. I lost distance with them and wasn’t terribly accurate. Not a good combination! I tried the Epic irons first. I picked up some distance (maybe half a club) and liked the way the club set up, but had trouble justifying the high price for a marginal gain in performance. I then tried the Rogue irons. I compared my Steelhead 7 iron and the Rogue (UST Recoil 760/780 ES shaft) on TrackMan. I picked up 3-4 mph in club head speed, about 10 yds in distance, with a higher trajectory and tighter dispersion. The ball seemed to jump off the club face and had a great sound. And the black shaft looks especially sharp! At 68 years old I must confess that distance was my primary focus. The forgiveness and playability of the irons were added benefits. I have some trouble with the offset of the Rogue irons, but I can live with that. I’ve now had the clubs for several weeks and have played some of my better rounds of the year (mid to high 70’s). These are the best irons that I have played in a number of years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True step in technology Having reached the age of 70, my game had lost lot of distance. These new Rogue irons have given me back 10 years. I ordered the senior weight shafts and what a difference. My handicap had grown to an ugly 25 and in just one month, it is trending to an 18. I hope to reduce it to a 12-14 which I played at for many years after reaching 50. I can't say enough about the Rogue play ability and feel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Clubs play way better than I do. They swing very comfortably.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very forgiving iron. I gained at least ten yards per club over my previous irons. I have the rogue with a stiff graphite shaft. I have Mishit a number of shots with 5 and 6 irons that still end up on the green. It seems almost like cheating. I have the 4 iron through sand wedge. I am still trying to get used to the offset on the sand wedge. I probably would have ordered one of the other sand wedges from Callaway if I had to do it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As good as it gets. I bought my set at the PGA Superstore after a complete fitting session. I compared 3 of the top brands and the Rogue Irons were by far the best feeling clubs I tried. I'm about a 5 handicap and a total range rat. After a lot of practice and 5 rounds I can say these irons live up to the hype. My distance has increased significantly based on a Trackman session. The feel is phenomenal and the accuracy is great. I highly recommend the irons. As with any set you need a PROPER fitting.
