Apex Pro Dot Irons

Features &
Benefits

  • Precision Distance Control
Apex Pro Dot is precision-engineered with speed enhancing 1025 carbon steel face plates to promote consistent ball speed across the face.
  • Tour Shaping and Design
The Apex Pro Dot is a classic look that the best players want to see with a straighter leading edge, higher toe, thin top line, and a smooth hosel transition. Their extensive input played a significant role in how we designed these precision crafted forged irons with traditional lofts, slightly less offset than Apex Pro 19, and a beautiful Tour performance shape.
  • Extremely Soft Feel
We’ve created a new standard for incredibly soft feel from a forged 1025 mild carbon steel body. The premium forged body creates the amazing Apex sound and feel that the world’s best players prefer.
  • Optimum Ball Flight and Control
The multi-material construction allows us to infuse Tungsten into each iron, so we can locate the CG in each iron with extraordinary precision. This tungsten promotes optimal shot-making, ball flight, and control for scoring performance through the set.
Apex Pro Dot Irons is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great but needed adjustment Love the clubs, but the loft and lie was off on every club. Now the chrome has bend marks from adjusting. Amazing clubs but qc needs to be better. At this price point they should be perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hi cost low quality Bought these 3 months ago loved them.until the chrome plating on the face started peeling off on my 6/7/8 irons.callaway are replacing but have maid a mess of my order? They sent 4 iron separate with a different grip to set that came a week later.grips are wrong on set and swing weights are all over the place as 4 iron wasn’t built into set?overall for an expensive set of irons very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong consistent performance & great looks I got a custom built set with upgraded shafts (nippon modus 130) and grips (tour velvet align midsize) which look fantastic with the red flashes. I’ve been shooting the lights out since they arrived having done a gapping session to find how far they go (+9yd’s vs my old set). On full shots I get consistency of distance, a strong & penetrating flight that peaks high and lands soft with good spin control, I can shape it, and I feel happy, inspired and confident looking down on them. On shorter swings I can again control range well, play knockdowns, and have a good feel from them. Not the absolute softest, but that adds some durability to what is a soft but crisp feeling. I’m now a Callaway man through and through having added the epic flash sub zero driver in 9.5, and the Mack daddy 4 wedges with matching nippon shafts and midsize grips in 54 and 58. I’ve won 2 long drive prizes in the last month (340yds and 355yds....my average best with my old driver was 280)...and I struggle to miss the fairway now and can hit ‘high bombs’ with a baby draw or soft fade or just nail a straight one with a lower flight...I honestly find it great to hit. The Mack daddy’s are also a dream, the 58 degree with s grind has changed my bunker play immensely....I can’t fail to knock it close easily and I was much less consistent with my vokeys and ping glides previously....hands down the best wedges out there. Looking to add an epic sz 3 or 4 wood next....but I’d like to see if Callaway add a new driving iron first so I can gap correctly. Very impressed with everything from Callaway right now....I’ve fallen back in love with the game so thanks

Rated 2 out of 5 by from would never buy the smoke finish showed marks after a couple rounds pros -the irons them self I love my yardage are very consistent the lofts are more traditional love the feel you can work the ball . I was playing the tailormade 790 cons I went for the smoke finish look they look beautiful when you first put them in your bag take a picture because that will be the last time they look nice after only a few rounds they are scratch up you can see on my 7 iron the finish is already damage. I have not been to a range and the course I play was a sod farm so the soil is soft callaway should disclose that this finish is a coating and that the color is not through the metal it cost 200.00 more for the set so you think your getting a better quality

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding set of irons. The best “players set” I’ve every played and I’ve played them all! I’ve been playing these irons for 6 months and just love them. The long mid irons have a high but penetrating flight and the feel is fantastic. The size is perfect. Not too big and clunky or too small and intimidating. The look is very premium. I’m consistently shooting in the 70’s with these and they go a few yards (1/2 club) farther than your average set of players clubs and stop quickly on the green. I’m adding the Epic Forged long iron to the set. Maybe the 5 iron that I’ll play as a 4 iron, based on lofts and what I’ve read. Callaway has really started to separate themselves as a product leader.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Confused When I purchased the clubs I wanted standard specs for every club and when they arrived they were flattened 3-4 degrees flat which led me to cutting/slicing the ball with each iron. So on top of ordering a top of the line iron I had to pay out of pocket to have them bent to standard. Was happy I didn’t purchase the driver because I don’t know what I would’ve actually gotten. Was not happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got custom fitted at Club Champion, and couldn’t be happier. The feel is soft, traj and spin are consistent, and distance gapping is spot on. I’m loving my new Apex Pro 19 irons. Jerry at CC in Newport Beach did a custom fit for me that was precise and data driven. The result was a set of irons that are consistent and a joy to hit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid players iron I ordered these after problems with my Apex Combo set and they arrived with a mistake with the grips, which Callaway jumped to make right. I'm happy with the look, sound, and feel of the irons and the distance help is very similar to the standard Apex. After one practice session on our sandy practice tee, the copper plate is already showing through the chrome....after 20 shots! They offered to replace the 7-iron but I passed. In spite of the problems, I'm happy with the performance of the clubs. We'll see how it goes whether I should have stuck with the Apex Combo set.
