Features &
Benefits

  • Flash Face Cup Technology For Industry-leading Ball Speeds
For the first time, we’re using Artificial Intelligence in an iron. We’ve created a sophisticated face architecture that’s unique to every loft, so we can create a significant boost in ball speed and increased spin robustness off of every iron.
  • Tungsten Energy Core For Optimal Launch
The custom tungsten-infused weights in each iron allow us to locate the position of the CG in each iron with extraordinary precision while still maintaining ball speed in the Flash Face Cup. This promotes optimum launch and ball flight through the set, from strong lofts and player preferred trajectory, spin rates, and land angles.
  • Urethane Microspheres For Unprecedented Feel
We’ve implemented our patented urethane microspheres to comprehensively absorb unwanted vibration for pure feel, while also maximizing COR for incredible ball speed.

MAVRIK Pro Irons is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 43.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Increase in distance and accuracy Kudos to Callaway on his new line of irons. I have picked up 15-20 yards on the irons, great launch angle and trajectory, and a perfect spin rate for me. I love the clean look, cosmetically they transition from the 7 iron to the 8 iron as well as any iron I have seen. This set is designed using artificial intelligence, I like there is no bias from the design standpoint. Data from 20 years was fed into a computer, the program pinpointed the loft and weight placement and a perfect shaft choice to deliver the right amount of loft and spin. Well done!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extraordinary Irons! A player's iron that is buttery smooth, accurate, and long! Every once in a while a great innovation comes along and changes everything. I think the Callaway designers just did that with Mavrik Pro irons. I haven't felt the need to buy new irons in 7+ years, I am a single digit handicap senior player and haven't seen a convincing enough reason until now. I was debating on getting a 3 iron again because I hit my 4 iron so well. I played competitive golf growing up and 40 years ago and my go to club was my 2 iron. Hybrids just never really worked for me, I tended to draw or hook them, and I tried a good many over the last several years. So I tried the Mavrik Pro 3 iron and was stunned how simply easy it was to hit, how smooth it felt, and how far it flew. I hit the Mavirk Pro 3 iron 240 to 250 yards and it goes straight with no sidespin, just pure and feels like I am hitting a 7 iron. I haven't carried an actual 3 iron in my bag for more than 10 years until now. The 3 iron felt so good, I went for a fitting to check out the performance further. The Mavrik Pro 7 iron ball speed was 5-6 mph higher and the launch and decent angles were great for accuracy. So I bought the Mavrik Pro irons. I took them out to the golf course and was blown away how accurate, consistent and smooth they were in real playing conditions. I hit 12 of 18 greens in regulation. This wasn't an anomaly, I now see this same level of consistency in my game. with these irons. Now if I could only putt! If Callaway ever comes up with an AI designed putter I am sure I will try it and end up buying it. For the record, I had the same experience with the Callaway Epic Flash driver. Side by side with my Taylormade driver and the same swings and I saw 15 mph increased ball speed and 30 yards increase in distance! As a tech guy for my day job, remember I can't putt and chip so that is why I go to work on Mondays, I understand and appreciate the technology-based approach Callaway is doing. The AI-based approach is resulting in extraordinary impact in all industries and now Callaway was the first to really master this for the golf world. Nice work Callaway innovators!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Run, don't walk to get these irons! Until recently, I was a life-long Titleist player, especially in irons. My gamer set for the past 9+ years has been the 712 AP2, and I love(d) them. As I've aged, and my frequency of rounds has fluctuated, I found the AP2's a bit less forgiving than I now need. I'm still carrying a handicap between 7 and 10, and really wanted to stay in a players iron, but get the benefit of new technology. Tested the Mavrik Pro 5-PW a couple of times and saw an immediate boost in carry distance, and good spin rate. What sold me on this club was the trajectory. It starts lower and climbs perfectly. Shot shape is beautiful, and remains workable in both directions. Shot dispersion tightened up a lot too. The look at address and top line is almost identical, and swing weight is comparable to my AP2s. 7i carry on average is now 160-165y. 5i is 175-180. Steel shafts, stiff with the TT Elevate 105. I'm fortunate to fit a standard setup as well. Callaway has produced an incredibly playable model with the Mavrik.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just WOW!!! Ill make this as short and sweet as possible. I'm a 4 handicap and was playing the Taylormade tour preferred cb irons. After doing more research that I would like to admit I landed on the MAV Pro's. I haven't even taken them on the course yet. But I hit a large bucket at the range with only my irons and I can tell you this. My accuracy and flight control with these is better than I could have ever expected. Yes they are long. But I had a slight worry about distance control. Not anymore!!! These are amazing!!! These give you the confidence to be aggressive and get at the pins!!!! As a golfer that's all you want right!?!?!? I will shoot lower scores without a doubt!!! If you're a golfer that's a 14 handicap or better. Just pull the trigger and buy these. You will absolutely not regret it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Between Players and Game Improvement I have had my Mavrik Pro Irons for about 6 months now. They sit perfectly between the unforgiving high end blade set I have and the Callaway Steelhead XR game improvement set I was playing. The head size, shape and lack of offset looks and feels like a players iron. The feedback from striking is much better than other distance irons I have tried, while not a forged head you can feel where on the face you struck the ball. For a club aimed at better players they are forgiving but you can still shape your shots. If you struggle to close the club face I would recommend the standard or Max version of these irons. As far as distance goes you won’t beat the face of these irons. They are long, I had mine bent 2° weak for that reason and am still hitting my 7 iron 190. My only complaint would be that I cracked the face of the 6 iron catching a rock hidden in the fairway but I bought a replacement. My set is 1° flat 2° weak with the Elevate 95 stiff flex shafts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from By far the best Callaway irons I’ve played. The Mavrik Pro irons are the best clubs I’ve ever played. Easy to hit and Able work the ball, clubs are very long and have a great feel even though they are not forged. I’m a single digit handicap player and would recommend these clubs as a players club to a mid handicap player. Compared these clubs to Titleist AP2, Mixuno MMC, Callaway X Forged Blades and Taylormade P790’s. Get fitted, shafts make a big difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Upgrade Bought these looking to improve my game after using RAZRX irons for quite a while. I'm the type of golfer whow ill only replace clubs if they break or if there is a real advance in the technology. This is a HUGE advance in the technology. The look at address is great, feels amazing through impact and the sound that these irons make is great. I hope that Callaway uses the AI tech in building wedges next! My only real knock is the Mavrik name and Logo. For such an amazing product the name/logo are pretty cheesy.
