
Kaitlyn Schroeder is from Jacksonville, Florida. She rose to prominence as one of the top junior golfers in the U.S., finishing ranked No. 1 in the class of 2023 by the American Junior Golf Association and earning 2022 AJGA Rolex Player of the Year honors. During her junior career she was a three-time AJGA All-American, won notable events like the AJGA Rolex Girls Invitational and Girls Junior PGA Championship, competed on the 2021 U.S. Junior Solheim Cup team, and won the 2022 Rolex Girls Junior Championship.
Schroeder made her LPGA Tour debut as an amateur at the Evian Championship and received an invitation to the 2023 Augusta National Women’s Amateur. She began her collegiate golf career at the University of Alabama before transferring to the University of North Florida, where she has continued to compete at a high level, earning multiple ASUN Golfer of the Week awards and several top finishes.
Off the course, she plans to major in business management and is the daughter of Scott Schroeder, director of golf at UNF.
