Ritchie has been a stalwart of Australian golf for the last three decades. He is a three-time Australian PGA Apprentice Player of the Year and 2001 Australian PGA Presidents Award winner. Ritchie was a scholarship holder at the prestigious Australian Institute of Sport, in which time he developed a strong belief in what characteristics were required to be a successful player. Ritchie is acknowledged as communicating his message in an honest, simple manner with absolute care for his pupils the underlying focus. With major winners Minjee Lee and Hannah Green, and up and coming stars Min Woo Lee and Elvis Smylie in his stable of players, and three Australian Teacher of the Year awards to his name, it’s obvious what Ritchie is teaching is working.
